COMTRAIN HELPS ERICSSON WITH IPTV and IMS

Comtrain, the Channel Islands leading provider of Telecoms training has been helping telecoms giant, Ericsson expand their sales skills and knowledge on IPTV and IMS solutions.  Ericsson is a market leader in IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS) and a major player in IPTV end-to-end solutions.

As Gordon Porter, Sales Director of Comtrain explains, "The IPTV market is very fragmented with many niche and specialist players, while the IMS market is dominated by the traditional telecoms equipment manufacturers such as Ericsson, Nokia, Siemens, etc.  In order for companies such as Ericsson to suceed in these markets it is essential that sales and sales support personnel understand the market and the value of their solution to their customers.  Following a joint development plan and a successful pilot in July, we are now working with Ericsson to help train their sales personnel worldwide on both IPTV and IMS."

To-date, Comtrain have delivered the 2 day IPTV and IMS Sales course to Ericsson personnel in countries such as Sweden, Austria, Germany, Holland and Belgium.
