This course provides an extensive overview of the IMS architecture, looking at all the major protocols and interfaces that comprise IMS. The course starts by looking at basic IMS concepts and services before exploring the protocols and procedures that comprise IMS. Example IMS sessions are also explained to practically show how IMS operates. Development of IMS by the 3GPP is also discussed.
