Implementing Cisco Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) is a five-day course that explains how Cisco IPS protects network devices from attacks. During the course, you will install an IPS device and use IDM to configure basic setings and built-in signatures to meet the requirements of a given security policy. You will also use the Monitoring Center for Security and Cisco Threat Response to maximize alarm management efficiency and install the NM-CIDS in a router and initialize it. Throughout the course, the CLI and IDM are used to verify system configuration.
