This course provides an overview of the telecoms signalling protocol Q.931 and its accompanying protocols such as Q.921. The course looks at Q.931 in packet-switched and circuit-switched networks and looks at the message flows and possible problems. The course concludes by looking at how Q.931 is also used in VoIP networks and by H.323.
