This course provides an overview of the telecoms signalling protocol Q.SIG and the work of the various standards bodies who have contributed to it. The course looks at the protocol message structure and looks at a basic call and the many supplementary services. The course concludes by looking at how Q.SIG is used by other protocols such as H.323.
