This course is intended for those who are starting in radio planning for GSM networks or for those who deal with such planners. Having covered the basics of radio propagation, the cell planning process is described. Propagation models, especially the Okamura-Hata and Walfish-Ikegami are described. The course assumes some telecoms background but will present the GSM network as required during the course.
